On 4th October 2008 I went to Sivana samudram with my family members from Mysore.
History:
Shivanasamudra is a small village located in the Mandya District of the state of Karnataka, India. It is verymuch popular for the waterfalls. It is like Nayagara of India. It is situated on the banks of the river Kaveri and is the location of the second Hydro-electric Power station in Asia, which was set up in the year 1902.
Shivana Samudra is also popular as Siva Samudra.
